Ingredients (for 6 Pieces):
- 400 Grams of flour
- 1 Cube of fresh yeast
- 250 Milliliters of lukewarm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 100 Grams of finely dices lean bacon
- 1 Egg yolk
Preparation:
Mix flour, yeast, water and salt in a mixing bowl. Knead the dough, while using a kitchen machine, for 5 minutes with the dough hook at low speed, after that slowly increase the speed and knead the dough for another 8-10 minutes. Meanwhile, add the bacon into the mixing bowl.
Form 6 equal dough rolls and place them on a baking sheet. Dilute the egg yolk with a bit water and brush it on the dough rolls. Put the dough rolls aside and let the dough proven for about 30-45 minutes.
Preheat the oven up to 210 degrees and also put a small bowl of water in the oven. Bake the dough rolls for about 15-20 minutes. Afterwards remove them from the oven an let them cool down and enjoy!
